All India Institute of Ayurveda Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

1. Project Consultant

Essential Qualifications

• BAMS from a recognized University/Institute

• B.Sc. (Life Sciences) from a recognized University/Institute

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in handling projects related to AYUSH systems

• Must be well-versed in the subject matter

Desirable / Preference

• Postgraduate candidates

• Background in Ayurveda / Agriculture / Horticulture

2. Mali (Skilled)

Essential Qualifications

• Passed 10th Standard from a recognized board

• Experience in taking care of gardens

Desirable

• Field experience in garden maintenance and plantation work

3. Labour (Unskilled)

Essential Qualification

• Passed 8th Standard from a recognized board

AIIA Project Staff Recruitment 2026 Roles and Responsibilities

Project Consultant

• Planning, development, and supervision of the herbal garden

• Identification and layout planning of medicinal plants

• Supervision of plantation, irrigation, manuring, and garden upkeep

• Monitoring plant health and suggesting corrective measures

• Coordination with authorities, staff, and field workers

• Documentation, labelling, and record-keeping of plant species

• Advising on procurement and sustainable garden management

Mali (Skilled)

• Daily maintenance of the herbal garden

• Plantation of medicinal plants, herbs, shrubs, and trees

• Soil preparation, composting, and fertilizer application

• Use and maintenance of gardening tools and irrigation systems

• Ensuring cleanliness, landscaping, and garden aesthetics

Labour (Unskilled)

• Assisting in routine garden maintenance activities

• Supporting plantation, soil preparation, and material handling

• Cleaning garden areas and disposal of waste

• Assisting skilled gardeners and supervisors

• Any other garden-related duties assigned by authorities

All India Institute of Ayurveda Recruitment 2026 Contract Period

• Initial engagement is for 02 months, ending on 31 March 2026

• The contract may be extended further with mutual consent and approval from the funding agency (NMPB)

• The institute reserves the right to terminate the contract without assigning any reason

• Salary will be paid as consolidated remuneration as mentioned above

• No TA/DA, transport, mobile, or medical allowance will be admissible

• 12 days leave per calendar year on a pro-rata basis

• Unavailed leave cannot be carried forward or encashed

• Excess leave will result in salary deduction on a pro-rata basis

• Full-time engagement; no additional remuneration for holidays or extra work
