National AYUSH Mission CPMU Recruitment 2026: The Central Programme Management Unit(CPMU) under the National Ayush Mission(NAM), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, has released an official advertisement inviting applications for 20 contractual positions across multiple disciplines. CPMU acts as the central support unit for planning, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of NAM activities across States and UTs.

National Ayush Mission CPMU Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details 

A total of 20 contractual vacancies are available under CPMU:

All positions are purely contractual and do not confer any right to permanent absorption 

National Ayush Mission CPMU Recruitment 2026 Common Eligibility Conditions (All Posts)

• Age Limit: 21 to 60 years

• Nature of Employment: Contractual

• Leave Entitlement: 18 days per calendar year (pro-rata basis)

• Allowances: Only TA/DA during official tours as per government rules

• Taxation: Income tax and other statutory deductions applicable

• Selection Process: Through a Selection Committee headed by a Joint Secretary-level officer

• Important Note: Continuous contractual service does not lead to regularisation

National Ayush Mission CPMU Recruitment 2026 Post-Wise Eligibility & Responsibilities

1. Senior Programme Manager (01 Post)

Qualification & Experience

• PG Diploma in Public Health Administration / Management / MBA-HR (2 years)

• Minimum 15 years experience in Government sector

• Preference for candidates with experience in health & AYUSH sector

Key Responsibilities

• Overall planning and implementation of National Ayush Mission

• Coordination with States for Ayushman Arogya Mandir (Ayush)

• Review of State Annual Action Plans (SAAP)

• Training modules, reports, parliamentary matters, and inter-ministerial coordination

Remuneration: ₹1,00,000 per month + 5% annual increment 

2. Domain Expert – Public Health (08 Posts)

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSMS/BYNS)

• Master’s/PG Diploma in Public Health

• Minimum 5 years experience in public or private sector

Key Responsibilities

• Support implementation of Ayushman Arogya Mandir (Ayush)

• Coordination with States/UTs

• Training, monitoring, reporting, data analysis

• Field visits and public health programme support

Remuneration: ₹75,000 per month + annual increment 

3. Senior Consultant – NAM (02 Posts)

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in AYUSH discipline

• Minimum 7 years experience in public health programmes

Responsibilities

• Examination of SAAP/NHM PIP

• Technical reporting and policy support

• Development of outreach programmes and guidelines

Remuneration: ₹65,000 per month 

4. Junior Consultant – NAM (04 Posts)

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in AYUSH discipline

• Minimum 5 years experience in public health programmes

Responsibilities

• Support SAAP review

• Training material development

• Public health outreach assistance

Remuneration: ₹60,000 per month 

5. Finance Manager (01 Post)

Qualification & Experience

• MBA-Finance / M.Com / CA / ICWA

• Minimum 5 years experience in financial management

Responsibilities

• Budgeting, fund flow, audit, MIS, utilization certificates

• Coordination with PAO and State PMUs

Remuneration: ₹60,000 per month 

6. Accounts Manager (01 Post)

Qualification & Experience

• MBA-Finance / M.Com / CA-Inter / ICWA-Inter

• Minimum 3 years experience

Responsibilities

• Accounting, UC monitoring, reconciliation, audit review

• Coordination with States

Remuneration: ₹50,000 per month 

7. Data Assistant (03 Posts)

Qualification & Experience

• MBA-IT / MCA / MSc-IT / BCA

• Minimum 3 years experience

Responsibilities

• Data collection, HMIS-AYUSH management

• Database maintenance and reporting

• Coordination with State & National Health Systems

Remuneration: ₹35,000 per month
