Indian Railway Apprentice 2026 Notification Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following qualification requirements:
Matriculation (10th class) passed under the 10+2 system from a recognized board with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
ITI Certificate: Candidate must possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade, recognized by the NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) or State Council (SCVT) as specified in the notification.
Applicants whose SSC or ITI results are “awaited” as of 18/02/2026 are not eligible.
Note: Engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible under this apprenticeship scheme.
