
Field Sales Engineer – Systems & Instruments : Job Overview
Waters Corporation, a global leader in speciality measurement and analytical technologies, is hiring a Field Sales Engineer, Systems/Instruments to support the continued growth of our business across the assigned territory. In this field-based role, you will act as a brand ambassador for Waters,promoting our advanced products and solutions. You will work closely with customers to understand their business needs and growth plans, translating those insights in to effective technical and also commercial solutions. This role offers significant flexibility & exposure to cutting-edge analytical technologies.
Field Sales Engineer – Systems & Instruments: Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business plans, territory plans, sales reports, tenders and customer-specific solution documents
- Plan and conduct customer demonstrations in collaboration with demo lab specialists
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Instrument Sales, Chemistry Operations, Informatics and Service teams
- Effectively plan and prioritize sales activities and manage time across the assigned territory
- Manage product mix and pricing strategies to achieve sales targets
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental(HSE) requirements at customer sites
- Maintain accurate sales data, forecasting, and reporting through daily CRM updates
- Participate in additional sales projects and initiatives as assigned by management

Field Sales Engineer – Systems & Instruments: Qualifications &
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology (or) Biochemistry
Field Sales Engineer – Systems & Instruments: Experience
- Strong technical knowledge with solution-based selling experience in LC, MS, LC/MS or Informatics
- Hands-on laboratory experience, preferably in chromatography and mass spectrometry
- Exposure to relevant industries such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, food, or materials

This is a territory-based role involving regular travel with in the assigned region. Occasional international travel may be required for training, meetings and business support activities.
