Indian Army SSC Tech-67 Recruitment 2026 Age Limit 

For SSC (Tech)–67 Course:

• The candidate must be 20 to 27 years of age as on 01 October 2026

• Only candidates born between 01 October 1999 and 30 September 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible

The notification also clarifies that:

• The date of birth recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary School Certificate only will be accepted

• No other document will be accepted for DOB proof

• No request for change of age/date of birth will be entertained later

Indian Army SSC Tech-67 Recruitment 2026 Vacancies

The notification states that 350 vacancies for men and 29 vacancies for Women are available across multiple engineering disciplines. However, these are tentative and may change based on organizational requirements.

Indian Army SSC Tech-67 Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification

• Candidates must hold a degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline from a university recognized under:

  • Central / State Legislature Acts

  • UGC Act / AICTE / IIT / IIIT / NITSER Acts

• Final-year students may apply provisionally, subject to submission of proof before joining.

Candidates with foreign university degrees are not eligible.

Indian Army SSC Tech-67 Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process consists of multiple stages:

 Shortlisting of Applications

• Shortlisting is based on cumulative percentage marks up to the qualifying semester.

• Cut-off percentages are fixed stream-wise.

 SSB Interview

• Conducted at:

  • Prayagraj

  • Bhopal

  • Bengaluru

  • Jalandhar Cantt

• Two-stage testing:

  • Stage-1 screening

  • Stage-2 interview & psychological tests

Candidates failing Stage-1 are returned the same day.

Medical Examination

• Only recommended candidates undergo medical examination.

• Medical validity is 270 days from SMB date.

Selection is based on SSB marks and stream-wise vacancies. Being recommended does not guarantee selection.
