Trade Apprentice – Boiler (Mechanical)

IOCL Digboi Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification

• Minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).

• Must have completed qualification before 31 January 2026.

• Only regular full-time courses are eligible.

• Candidates with higher qualifications (BE/B.Tech/MBA/CA/LLB etc.) are NOT eligible.

• Candidates with 1 year or more job experience after qualification are not eligible.

• Those who completed qualification more than 5 years ago are not eligible.

IOCL Digboi Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Age Limit (As on 31-01-2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age: 24 Years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST – 5 Years

• OBC (NCL) – 3 Years

• PwBD – 10 Years (Additional relaxation as applicable)

IOCL Digboi Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There will be NO written test.

Selection will be based on:

• Percentage of marks in the prescribed qualification.

• Merit list prepared in descending order.

• Tie-breaking rule:

  • Older candidate preferred (Date of Birth basis)

  • Higher 10th marks if DOB is same

• Document Verification

• Pre-Engagement Medical Examination

Apprentices will receive stipend as per the Apprentices Act 1961/1973 and IOCL guidelines.

No HRA or company accommodation will be provided.
